Olimpia Milano will win

FC Bayern Munchen – Olimpia Milano Match Prediction | 28-08-2019 14:30

Monroe has played in the NBA for about a decade and he made the move to Germany this year. Bayern will hope to continue their domestic dominance, but continental progress will be one of the goals for next season as well. His last NBA side was the Philadelphia 76ers. Aside from the Bosnian, former NBA player Greg Monroe will suit up for Bayern Munich as well. Dedovic will be the key player again for Bayern Munich this season.

However, they finished the last edition of the Serie A season on the back of a 4-match winning run. The Rossoneri, as people call them in Italy, havent played a competitive game since May. As a result, they are bound to give it their best on Wednesday. On the other side, the Italian heavyweights are just kicking off their summer preparations. Without any minutes in their legs, however, I dont see them posing a great threat to the Bundesliga giants.

They beat Alba Berlin to defend their title. Bayern will be the strong favorites to retain their crown this season as well. They have made Top 16 just once, which was five years ago. Nihad Dedovic was crowned as the Finals MVP. Since then they have failed to better that. They have won the German Championship five times, and two of those have come in the last two years. In comparison, their performances in the EuroLeague have not been encouraging.

The Bavarians boast a strong squad which requires little to no tweaking this summer. The 19-year-old will be the player I will keep my eye on. Niko Kovac did lose two of iconic players in Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, but the Bundesliga champions have plenty of talent to replace the two ageing stars. Moreover, Bayern Munchen ended up snapping one of Germanys biggest talents this summer in Jann-Fiete Arp.

Premier League 2019/2020 Watford vs Brighton Preview and Prediction

Robert Lewandowski, who found the net in the 3-1 win over Real Madrid, will be the man to watch in the home team. Bayern Munchen are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that they want to head into the German Super Cup high on confidence we are positive that they are going to emerge triumphant in Tuesdays clash. Fenerbahce, on the other hand, failed to impress in the 2018/2019 Turkish Super Lig season and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Bayern Munchens party at Allianz Arena.

Both these sides were neck to neck in the table last year. Bayern finished 11th in the regular season courtesy of winning 14 out of their 30 league games. Bayern have not been able to dominate on the continental stage, but they have been prominent in the domestic spectrum. They could not reach the playoffs and were short by just one win. Their points differential was -56, which is not a solid number.

But their showing in the Serie A has been much better. Milano have won the title in three of the last six years. Last season Reyer Venezia trumped them in the final to win the Serie A. Just like Bayern, Olimpia Milano won 14 out of their 30 regular season games last season. They couldnt get into the playoffs and progress further in the competition. In the three seasons when they failed to win, they reached the semifinal in all of those.

Namely, 3 of their 4 preparation games resulted in 3 or more goals. The Bundesliga champions have had a set of mixed preseason results. However, the Bavarian behemoths are coming off from a morale-boosting 3-1 win over Real Madrid and I see them continuing in the same rhythm on Wednesday. Niko Kovacs men have been rather prolific over the past couple of games as well. They won 2 games while losing and drawing apiece thus far in the summer.

Over the years Bayern Munich have established themselves as one of the most successful European clubs. The Stern des Sudens (Star of the South) are the dominant force in German football and it has to be noted that the Bavarians clinched their 26th Bundesliga title in 2016. Bayern Munich have won 18 German Cup trophies, while winning the Champions League (European Cup) five times.
